Mahal and Lesnar were set to wrestle at Survivor Series 2017 in a Champion vs Champion Match at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

However, The Modern Day Maharaja lost the WWE Championship to AJ Styles in Manchester on an episode of Smackdown shortly before the legendary Pay-Per-View.

Therefore, Styles earned the chance to face the Universal Champion in a losing effort.

Mahal now performs for RAW and is targeting some of the biggest stars in WWE, such as Roman Reigns and Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins, as well as the Universal Championship.

The ex-WWE Champion told Planeta Wrestling: “Unfortunately, I lost the WWE Championship to AJ Styles but I held the WWE Championship for six months.

“Many people expected me to never hold the WWE Championship or any Championship in WWE so I proved a lot of people wrong.

“But now that I moved to RAW, my goal is obviously the Universal Championship, but there is also many great competitors, such as Roman Reigns, who I have my eyes on right now. He claims that RAW is his yard, I think differently. I think I am the most dominant superstar in WWE.

“Right before I lost my title match against AJ Styles for the WWE Championship I was going to face Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, so now that I am on RAW that match is very possible for the Universal Championship.

“Other than that, Seth Rollins is the Intercontinental Champion. I am excited to be on RAW and I look forward to holding more championships.”

Mahal will face Reigns at Money in the Bank on June 17.

Their feud started when The Modern Day Maharaja cost The Big Dog a spot in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
