Update: UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz recently spoke to TMZ and stated below statement.
“Nobody really cares about what Tony says, Nobody gives a (expletive) really. As far as I know, GSP is next. That is what I want. Tony doesn’t get what he wants. We get what Khabib wants, and if Khabib calls me and says he wants Georges St-Pierre, Georges St-Pierre will be next.”
“Georges is my friend for 10 years, and I know Georges wants to fight Khabib, If you’re going to compare Tony Ferguson, he beat a whole bunch of guys, but he never been a champion. I’m talking about if Khabib is going to fight for legacy, a fight with Georges St-Pierre will be a huge fight. Dana White is a business man. That’s why he’s the best promoter of all time. I think him and Georges St-Pierre make a lot more money and more headlines. People will care more. It’s a fight for who is the greatest of all time.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Georges St-Pierre??
For those of you unaware, Georges St-Pierre retired from the UFC. But many fans still want Khabib vs. GSP fight. Last time UFC president Dana White shuts down the rumor as ‘never going to happen’ to ‘holy crap maybe it will happen’ territory.
But last night Khabib wins at UFC 242 and during the post-fight press conference. When asked to Dana White, if Khabib and Georges could fight, he took a long, long, long pause … and then said “Sure.”
Khabib also stated, ”Georges St-Pierre is great guy, great champion, great athlete, He’s very good example for young kids. If he want to come back, if he feel hungry, if he feel he can improve his legacy with fight with me … and he can make 155, I am waiting for him. And I think maybe he like new belt? If he likes, I can give him, just only for one photo. But then he has to give me back this belt. But if he wants to fight? Welcome.”
